thought this was funny and alarming @ the same time... a Canadian woman loses her health benefits after her insurance company claimed that she's healthy after seeing her facebook pics smiling in a bikini on a beach.

Nathalie Blanchard, 29, took long-term sick leave from her job at IBM in Bromont, Quebec, more than a year ago for severe depression. she was reportedly receiving monthly claims from her insurance, Manulife.

so what else was the insurance's basis for their decision? apparently, Blanchard also posted photos of her enjoying herself during a male strip-tease show at a Chippendales bar while celebrating her birthday and bathing in the sun. hence, Manulife declared Blanchard wasn't depressed anymore.

we really can't blame Manulife, i bet they also did other investigations aside from viewing their client's social networking profile.. just the same, IT PINOYs, just be careful with what you post. you'll never know when this will used against you!
